Installation
Getting PureRank installed on your WordPress site takes less than two minutes.
Install from WordPress Admin
- Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard
- Navigate to Plugins → Add New
- Search for "PureRank SEO"
- Click Install Now, then Activate
Manual Installation
- Download the PureRank SEO plugin ZIP file
- Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
- Choose the ZIP file and click Install Now
- Click Activate Plugin
Initial Configuration
After activation, PureRank will guide you through a quick setup wizard:
Step 1: Site Profile
- Enter your site name and description
- Select your site type (blog, business, e-commerce, etc.)
- Choose your primary language and target country
Step 2: Search Console Connection (Pro)
- Click Connect Google Search Console
- Authorize PureRank to access your GSC data
- Select your property from the dropdown
- PureRank will begin importing your search data
Step 3: Feature Configuration
- Enable the features you want to use
- Configure your preferred analysis depth
- Set up notification preferences
Running Your First SEO Analysis
Once configured, PureRank analyzes your content automatically. Here's how to get started:
Analyze a Page or Post
- Open any page or post in the WordPress editor
- Look for the PureRank SEO panel in the sidebar
- Your content is analyzed in real-time as you type
- Follow the recommendations to improve your SEO score
Understanding Your Score
PureRank scores your content from 0 to 100 based on 50+ ranking factors:
- 90–100 — Excellent. Your content is well-optimized.
- 70–89 — Good. A few improvements could boost rankings.
- 50–69 — Needs work. Follow the priority recommendations.
- Below 50 — Significant optimization needed.
Priority Recommendations
PureRank prioritizes recommendations by impact:
- 🔴 Critical — Issues that could prevent ranking
- 🟡 Important — Improvements that will noticeably boost rankings
- 🟢 Optional — Nice-to-have optimizations for competitive keywords
One-Click Fixes (Pro)
Pro and Premium users can fix many SEO issues with a single click:
- Open the PureRank panel on any page or post
- Look for the ⚡ Fix button next to each recommendation
- Click to apply the fix instantly
- PureRank will update your meta tags, headings, or alt text automatically
